Lakewood Golf Resort is a stunning 18 Hole, Par 72 course located in the countryside just minutes from the vibrant resort town of Sylvan Lake. This family-owned course has been a great part of the community since 1982. Whether you’re a recreational golfer looking for an afternoon or evening’s play or a scratch golfer looking to challenge your game, Lakewood offers something for everyone.

Our driving range, practice bunker & practice greens are perfect for golfers of all skill levels looking to improve their game or just have some fun! With a CPGA Pro on site, you can hone your skills even further with a 1-on-1 golf lesson or by taking part in a group lesson or one of the short game clinics that we offer throughout the season. Don’t forget to bring your kids! Lakewood has one of the largest Junior Golf Programs in Central Alberta and we love investing in our up and coming golfers.

If you’re looking to enjoy a great restaurant in Sylvan Lake, look no further! Our fully licensed restaurant is a growing favorite. Come enjoy a drink, a great meal and a beautiful view on our outdoor patio overlooking the course. Keep in mind our restaurant is open during golf season only!

Most of the course in good shape but some of the tee boxes need some work for sure. A little overpriced for the quality in my opinion.

The course is always in fantastic condition, the scenery is beautiful, and the entire property is exceptionally well maintained. What truly sets Lakewood apart, though, is the people - hands down.

Darcy, Scott, and the entire team have created a customer experience that is second to none. Whether you’re golfing, staying in the RV park, relaxing in the clubhouse, or enjoying a meal at the restaurant, you’re treated like family from the moment you arrive. Their attention to detail, friendly service, and genuine commitment to making every visit memorable is evident in everything they do.
